Solid White is a more opaque version of our original Cloudy White filament. Solid White doesn't contain our Matte additive. In addition to Solid White, we offer Cloudy White, Paper White(Matte) and Off-White.

We offer Solid White on a spool or as a refill. Our refills are compatible with Bambu spools. We have several recommendations for 3D printable spools we've validated here.

The image with two refills shows the Solid White (left) sitting next to the Cloudy White (right).

Customer photo review of Solid White PETG Filament 1.75mm 1kg

'Solid White' is truly the most opaque PETG I've found to date, and it is a nice bright white, leaning toward the cool side. I tried to get some pics of it in action but I don't think I did it justice in my lighting. It's very close to Hatchbox PLA in opaqueness and warmth of color (Hatchbox being my go-to premium PLA for color-exact projects). Every other PETG white I found leaks light or is a warmer white which looks gross. This stuff is TOUGH, too; I've printed with Overture PETG and that's very brittle in comparison; this is more like SUNLU or Elegoo and can handle a lot of repeated snaps on parts which connect to it. On my Bambu Labs A1 I run a G10 Hobby plate from Darkmoon3D (Garolite) to get a matching glossy plate-side finish. My plate likes 80C with this filament, and I print with the fan off for 3 layers and then max 30% after, with the standard stainless steel 0.4mm nozzle set to 240C throughout the print. Speeds at 0.20mm layer thickness are initially 45mm/sec (60 for infill) which gives me an almost 100% flat layer across almost the entire bed, and then I bump it up to 70 for outer walls, 95 for inners, and infills running at 110. Top surface I slow down to 65; overhangs are 0, 40, 30, and 15. I also slow the printer's movements down a bit to Travel: 500, and accelerations at 2000, 500, 1000, 0, 2000 and 100% (in Bambu Studio); otherwise I see the bed shaking too much on taller prints. This works for prints up to about 4" tall; beyond that I take the speeds down further, but most of my prints tend to be under 2" tall and take up the bed.

Prints pretty easily and has a good layer adhesion. Of the white PETGs I have tested it isn't the most opaque, but it is the most opaque that is still glossy and does not seem to have the issues I ran into with the others.

I've used a bunch of this to print parts for my garden. Hopefully it stands up, but everything printed well and is very nicely functional. I've printed seed starting trays, mounts to hold grow lights above the seedlings, water connectors, etc.

they sell the refills but no spools for it, I hate when companies do that. Are we supposed to guess what the inside diameter is? Guys, your only 75% there.
