It jammed my printer nozzle and tore my base plate (shown in picture). This might be a user error but it is really inconvenient and is really annoying. It is very pretty though so if you are a more experienced printer and want a cool color then go ahead and buy it, but if you don't know your printer well enough I would not recommend.
I wanted my cat's tag to be legible and I love how it turned out. Hoping to make another with the microchip number on it.
The teal is a very unique color that I have not seen elsewhere, I dig it.
I Love this filament. I found California on eBay and never looked back. I only purchase and use this brand directly from California Filament. Shown here in Transparent Green A Beehive-inspired Vase (as we are beekeepers). Printed perfectly for 127 hours non-stop 400 mm by 290 mm print meeting the fullest expectations for my CR10 printer. Print temp perfect at suggested range 240C exact. Heated bed for bond then heat off. First layer perfection out of a PETG Yup every time. By the way, bridging exceeds all expectations as I have surpassed a 200mm bridge with less than .05 Sag this is AWESOME. Sub note Delivery is incredibly fast as I live on the other side of the country and receive my orders the same week every time. Thank you California this will be my goto for Xmas Deco this year
Prints very well just like other Cali filaments. Color is insane…like a jewel!
California Filament petg handles overhangs better than a lot of brands out there you find on amazon. Very little stringing at the 235-242 print temp range. Holds well to the bed and I have yet to have any issue in the 100 or so rolls I've run through. This translucent teal is difficult to photograph, but is a very striking color unlike most of the translucent colors I've used over the years. Exhibits great interlayer adhesion, good impact and torsional strength and prints clean on both bowden and direct drive setups.
I think printing went well. I would not classify this color as teal. It’s very green. Teal is more blue/green. I was disappointed with the shade since I thought it would be very different, but it has done a great job printing. I’ve still got some kinks to work out with getting a smooth print, but I don’t think it’s the filament. I think it’s because I’m a bit of a newbie with my printer.
After some slicer tweaking it prints very well.
