Loving the 5kg spools. And as always, consistency is amazing.
The consistency, layer adhesion and over all quality of this PETG was excellent. I'm getting more. :-)
This was my first time buying the 5kg spools. The spooling was perfect, better than I've gotten from anywhere else. I had to rig up a holder for it, but will be switching to a turntable to stop it from wobbling. I'll certainly be buying 5kg again.
I go though about 100kg per year of pETG and having tried many brands and alternate filaments but I continue to purchase from California Filament as they continue to provide the cleanest and most reliable filament on the market. Thank you for providing a great product!
Great PETG! Prints perfect on Bambu lab A1 and A1 mini!
Love these 5kg rolls of petg. Have used black and white so far. Both have printed great in multiple machines. Hardest thing about using these rolls was printing a spool holder big enough to support and easily unwind them without over taxing the extruders.
This is the best filament I have used so far . Will definitely be ordering more!
This petg prints great. I've been printing automatic feeders for my farm animals. It prints clean, and smooth on my e3v2 and my e5+. I love the 5kg rolls no changing or worrying about running out mid print.. some of the pieces are 1.5k and 3+ days to print.
Ordered a 5kg spool to try, hoping it would work well. I have several farm projects to print and each project uses over 5kg of filament. At this roll up on a wide bearing roller on the table next to the printer and let me tell you it's big. But it prints great, running it at 250-255 on my e3v2. Adhesion is great, strength and color are great. I'll be ordering more.

Filament was well packaged to stay dry, prints like a dream, and is hands down the best value around. Printed on a P1P.
It's not a bad filament. 5KG is a big spool and can't fit in my existing dry box or on my spool holders so I stuck a plunger on the wall and it's been feeding like a hot damn. Any flaws in printing are purely from my own incompetence.
Big spools let us do big prints in one go, and the filament prints nicely. This entire support piece came off in one clean piece without much fuss.
Great Fillament!
Filament regularly snaps mid print. I've dried out the filament and keep the room very dry. I've tried a verity of different temperatures but it keeps snapping on me mid print. and when I resume the print it usually gets messed up. I have not had this issue with other PETG I've used.

I have purchased 6 5k Rolls and have printed 4 of them with 0 issues. 2 more rolls just ordered.

By this point I'm sure I've used over 100 kg, so I guess I should finally leave a review. Bottom line is this filament is great! I've tried cheaper Chinese filaments and expensive domestic ones. But I keep coming back to California Filaments. The print quality is superior, even to the more expensive filaments. What really set it apart is the speed at which I can print while maintaining quality. With other filaments, I have to dial back the speed and/or flow rate in order to get a decent print quality. They always ship the filament right after I place the order. And the few times I've needed help, the customer service has been on point.

Great filament for the price, we do prints that are very susceptible to warping and this filament is as good or better than other name brands. Love the 5kg spools, Very high quality product.

Guess this is a new company ? Maybe new to me? But they’re awesome. I got a 3kg spool in like 2 days. Amazing.
The 1.3" hole on your 5kg spool does not fit onto a single one of the printers in my printer farm (23 printers from 5+ different manufacturers including Creality, Taz, MakeIt Pro, AirWolf and generic Chinese models. I have to bore the core out of your spool to fit the different machines. 1.52" is the norm. This makes it barely worth the reduction in cost for your product. Tell me please what printer is your 5 kg spool intended for?

The larger rolls make for Less switching of spools on bigger jobs.

Great filament at a fantastic price!
If you can handle these 5KG spools, they are great for running multi-day prints without having to do a filament change. I just put mine on a Lazy Susan and run over a feeder into the printer.
Shipping was on time, the filament was vacuum packed to keep the moisture out it worked as it should.
Been using the smaller rolls a long time and decided to try out the big rolls for our 3 Vorons and they work great.
